Baby Joseph Smiles

Little Joseph has been smiling back at us the last couple days. We love it! He's adorable. We were able to capture a little bit of it on camera, so here he is! Enjoy! :D

Survival

Well, we did it! We survived our first week of school... all three of us! Jopes and I are both on track this semester. We were able to arrange our schedules so that our classes flip-flop, which makes juggling the baby a little easier. I feel better leaving my baby, knowing that he's home with his daddy. I think both Joseph and I are excited for our classes this semester. Joseph has a field trip coming up next month. He'll be going to the grand canyon with his geology class, which means little Joseph and I will be here by ourselves for those 4 days! I'm dreading it, but it will be fun for Jopes to go, and it's a required 50% of his grade.
We got two more fish for our tank tonight: a dojo loach and a plecostomus (algae eater). There's only one more fish that we plan to get for this tank, and that is a red tailed shark. It's been fun to learn more about the fish and taking care of tanks with Jopes. I think it'll be even more fun when little Joseph is old enough to enjoy the fish, too.

Joseph's Baby Blessing

Little Joseph was blessed by his dad on Easter Sunday-April 12, 2009. He wore the outfit that both his dad and grandpa wore! We had lots of family come for the event. Here is a slideshow of our pictures from that day.

Joseph Hord Free

Well, we did it! We're parents!! We had our little Joseph on Tuesday, March 17th 2009. He's our St. Patrick's Day baby! However, he did NOT come out with freckles and curly red hair! :) Baby Jopes has brown hair, long fingers, and long toes! As of right now, his eyes are charcoal blue, but we'll have to watch for them to change. Little Joe was 6 lbs 6 oz, and 19 inches long. He's a beautiful baby boy, and a perfect little angel. Mom and Dad are both doing well with all the adjusting. We feel pretty lucky to have such a good baby-it hasn't been too rough at all. We love being parents just couldn't be happier! :)
